Karolina Lanckorońska, Polish aristocrat & art historian, was imprisoned & sentenced to death during World War 2. She was subjected to varying treatment, from starvation to extra food rations according to the fluctuating concerns of the authorities in Berlin, ultimately being released from Ravensbrück. This is her story.
